Self-supporting stairs in wood, iron, or steel
The Wings model is a self-supporting cantilevered staircase that can be made of wood, iron or steel. The star of a striking modern setting, they create the perfect scenic effect.
Contributing to this effect is the choice of warm materials such as wood. In fact, the cantilevered wooden steps have a greater thickness that emphasizes the wood and design. Carefully shaped by our craftsmen, they create a sinuous, flexible and harmonious design throughout the length of the staircase.
For the Wings model, the metal steps can be made in different shapes and finishes and covered with a wooden tread or left in the original material.
By inserting warm or cool LED lighting in the steps, plays of light and shadow can be created with romantic chiaroscuro effects. Each blend of materials is a choice designed to express the utmost individuality of each staircase.
For non-load-bearing walls, the Wings model can be installed with a metal structure on one side that can be walled in or left exposed depending on taste. The steps are then threaded onto the appropriate support bars.
The railings complete this model. These usually consist of linear railings in metal or stainless steel, or can appear more lightweight with glass but to be more daring, special solutions with stainless steel cables or shaped glass walls can be devised for a very luxurious effect.
